HEAVY BAGS
We make use of the many heavy bags and free standing kickbags in our gym. These are great as you can hit them as hard as you want and they don't mind. Beat them, punch them, knee them, and they still remain to take a beating again and to help you get fit!!
PAD WORK
Focus mits help develop accuracy, timing and control. Working with a partner we run through simple set drills of punches and kicks. These differ than the heavy bags as you can move around more and your partner can help encourage and guide you as you train.
EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
We use Skipping ropes, Ab wheels, Hurdles, Kettle bells and lots of other equipment alongside our pad training to help give a full body workout. All done in short busts in the HIIT style of training.

HARD, HONEST, FUN TRAINING
We work hard to make the classes hard but also lots of fun. Everyone is aiming to get fitter and stronger, but we never take ourselves too seriously. We all have different ability, stamina and energies. The goal is to have a fun time and to beat any goals you have.
Classes are mixed gender and range from 5 - 15 people at a time. Some train in our other kickboxing and self defence classes too, others purely come to these fitness sessions.

Cardio K-Box is our kickboxing based fitness programme, fast paced, and high energy HIIT sessions to get you fighting fit. There is no contact other than on the pads, and it is a safe and fun place to train.

The purpose of the programme is to give you a good hard workout that gets your whole body moving, smashes away the stresses of life and is tons more fun than going to the gym.
It is great for people who like the thought of kickboxing but not of getting hit, or hitting somebody.
Hitting bags and pads is loads of fun, really gets you working hard, and you are learning stuff too.
Our workouts are friendly with loads of smiles but also loads of sweat!

It's a really friendly club. The adults kickboxing classes are a great place to learn and practise new techniques. The cardio kickboxing classes are a great way to burn off some energy and get fit. I love these classes. Come and join us!

I am out of shape, will i be ok?
YES definitely, this is totally the right place for you. You can go at your own pace, and we will encourage you to work as hard as you can But you are on your own journey and no matter what level you are at we can help you.
Can i have a FREE trial?
YES we offer a no obligation FREE trial to try out our martial arts, kickboxing, self defence and children's classes.

Do i need to bring anything with me?
Please wear sports clothing, it is no shoes on the mats, we sell all the kit you may ever need, but when you join you get some boxing gloves or a tshirt/vest to train in. Bring water and a towel and a good attitude and we will sort out the rest.
Do i need to sign up to a contract?
NO we do not do contracts, all you sign up to is a monthly fee, of which we have a few, depending on how often you wsh to train. If you wish to stop training just let us know and we can cancel your Direct Debit for you straight away. We want to be as flexible and accomodating as we can.
NO, you only need to book in for your trial, then after that you can attend any of our sessions within you membership plan. This way there is no excuse for missing your training!
